Anterior‐segment swept‐source ocular coherence tomography and scheimpflug imaging agreement for keratometry and pupil measurements in healthy eyes

چکیده
Purpose: This study examines agreement between the devices Anterion® and Pentacam HR® used for corneal pupil measurements in healthy eyes. Methods: The parameters compared two were: anterior Km (D), K2 K1 axis (°), astigmatism K max posterior CCT (μm), thinnest point thickness X-coordinate (mm), Y-coordinate diameter center-corneal vertex distance (mm) (angle kappa), centroid angle (mm). Results: Student's t test independent samples identified significant differences (p < 0.05) flat axis, K, steep mean K. For these last three measurements, although significant, none of were clinically relevant. Corneal power except Kf showed excellent Anterion Pentacam. Pupil differed significantly both groups 0.05). Conclusions: In a clinical setting we would not recommend interchangeable use measurement parameters.

A comparison of Scheimpflug imaging simulated and Holladay equivalent keratometry values with partial coherence interferometry keratometry measurements in phakic eyes.
OBJECTIVE To evaluate the interchangeability of a Scheimpflug camera (Pentacam, Oculus) and a partial coherence interferometry keratometer (IOLMaster, Zeiss) for measures of keratometry and anterior chamber depth (ACD). A particular focus was to determine which Pentacam keratometry value best correlates with the IOLMaster and if these results can be used interchangeably in clinical practice. ...

PURPOSE To assess the repeatability of the Galilei dual Scheimpflug analyzer (GDSA) in anterior segment examination. METHODS Fifty-two eyes from 52 healthy volunteers were prospectively and consecutively recruited. Anatomic, axial, refractive, and instantaneous parameters were measured with GDSA to provide a complete characterization of the anterior segment. Repeatability was assessed calcula...
متن کاملSwept-source optical coherence tomography imaging of macular retinal and choroidal structures in healthy eyes
BACKGROUND To report the thickness of the retina, retinal ganglion cell (RGC)-related layers, and choroid in healthy subjects using swept source optical coherence tomography (SS-OCT). METHODS One hundred and forty-six healthy volunteers were consecutively recruited for this prospective observational study. Thickness of retina, RGC-related layers, and choroid in the standard early treatment of...
متن کاملUtility of anterior segment swept-source optical coherence tomography for imaging eyes with antecedent ocular trauma
Purpose To evaluate the utility of swept source optical coherence tomography (SS-OCT) for the analysis of anterior segment structures in cases with previous traumatic eye injuries. Observations We report three eyes of three patients with anterior segment traumatic eye injury and highlight the role of SS-OCT in their evaluation and management. This technology enabled us to visualize the struct...
